Testimonials about our Teacher Training Programs

This was a great studio in which to learn. The owners make yoga teacher training available to everyone by offering several types and styles of training tailored to student availability and goals. Costs are the most reasonable in this area, with the option to pay up front or to finance your education. And the owners understand that life happens along the way. Everyone is truly working together to ensure student success. I have recommended this studio to others seeking teacher training and I will continue to do so. I am grateful I was given an opportunity here. – Solomon J. Williams, III

This training opened my eyes to new aspects of not only my teaching style, but also my personal practice and everyday life. I’m forever grateful for this experience! A million thanks to Eugene, Lauren and the entire Ganesha’s family. – Malikia Ian Robertson

Easy monthly payments also make it accessible for those who can’t pay a large lump sum. – Josh Womble

When searching for a Yoga Teacher Training, one needs to look at what it offers…..

Q: Is the Teacher Training Program being offered a Registered Yoga Alliance School?

A: A Registered Yoga Alliance School has to adhere to strict guidelines to become registered.  All of the Teachers at the school have to meet the Requirements of the Yoga Alliance in order to be listed as Faculty at the school.  The Yoga Alliance is the most recognized organization throughout the United States of America.  Therefore, it is more often than not Studios and gyms want a Registered Yoga Alliance School Graduate to join there team.  In addition, many insurance companies want to see that yoga teachers have graduated from a Yoga Alliance Registered School.  Ganesha’s Yoga and Wellness is glad to report we are a Yoga Alliance Registered School.

Q: What is different or special about Ganesha’s Yoga and Wellness’ Yoga Teacher Program vs. all the others which are offered throughout the United States?

A:  Moreover, search as you may, but you will not find another school to the best of our knowledge which offers an optional 60-100 hour  internship program at no additional cost.  We believe students learn best when they are doing under the supervision of an experienced teacher.

Q: What will I receive on Graduation Day?

A: First, we throw a Graduation like no other school.  We ask you to invite your family and friends to your Big Day.  Awards are handed out and Diploma’s which are suitable for framing are given out together with a referral letter if you completed a internship.  Once you have your Diploma in hand it is time to let the party begin.

Q: What do I do after Graduation?

A: You become part of our Alumni.  As a member of our Alumni we help you get Registered with the Yoga Alliance.  As an Alumni member you are encouraged to look into working with us and other studios.  You will be invited to exclusive Alumni events and share in Alumni discounts at our studios.

Our 200 hour Yoga Alliance approved program is an intensive study course for those wanting to deepen their understanding of yoga, as well as prepare students to teach and practice safely, successfully, and compassionately. We will cover all the physical, philosophical and scientific aspects of yoga in our training.

We aim to break free of any dogma, ritual or sectarian approach by introducing many styles of yoga: Hatha, Vinyasa, Yin, Restorative, Chair, and Beginner Yoga are the major styles covered, while we also explore Kundalini, Power Yoga, Hot Yoga, and more.

Your yoga practice will reach new heights as you become more knowledgeable and compassionate. All classes are held in either Kernersville, or Asheville, NC and each class is limited to 5-15 students. There are three options to complete your training; a weekly class of four hours, a once monthly all-weekend training, and a 15- day immersion training . The credentials you receive after successfully completing your study will serve as a testament to the knowledge and competency you have attained through your training. You will receive a certificate suitable for framing so you can proudly display it.

What’s the difference between the 15-Day Intense Training Immersion and 12

month program?

The difference between the immersion and the longer weekend/weeknight program is based on preference and scheduling. They are identical curriculum. Some people really thrive in the immersion atmosphere (living, eating, breathing yoga for 15-days) and some want to process slower. In the longer program, you might have more time to digest and assimilate the information in your daily life and practice. Whereas for the immersion, you get all the information in a concentrated amount of time and then we set you free to navigate the journey of assimilation and integration.

It is structured in such a way for all students to be successful. The decision to take the 15-day Intensive or 12-month is totally up to you.
